Born and raised in Alberta, Mike has worked a lifetime in various trades. Graduating from Harry Ainlay C.H.S. he entered the workforce in appliance repair, found construction as a laborer ($$), and entered carpentry gaining a Red Seal ticket in ’89 as a member of Local 1325. While there there he continued to upgrade his skills and became a ticketed Scaffolder as well, with all the extra tickets he could gain – first aid, skid steer, forklift, zoom-boom, hoisting & rigging, welding, etc…
After 20 years of that, life out of town was not for him, and he began his exit and reinvention into what you see today. A strange progression from online trading to delivery, to pressure washer maintenance, to security systems, and finally to the mechanical trade – gasfitting and HVAC – that’s where he found his calling.
Every skill he’d ever learned elsewhere was transferable, and after two months he apprenticed, paid his own way through N.A.I.T., and gained his Red Seal as a Gasfitter.
You might think that after all that roaming around that he isn’t good at what he does, but you would be quite wrong. Mike brings a standard of workmanship to everything he does, which is why he’s learned how to do everything he does! It’s the only way to ensure quality. These days, quality is hard to come by but everything that’s looked for. Now, some years later, he’s out on his own as Inclined Mechanical Services Ltd., to build his own equity and provide everything you are looking for.
He’s often heard to say “Make it look like it’s meant to be there.” Just like everything else, he brought the old ethos of union work – do it right, do it once – to residential heating and cooling. It doesn’t just matter if it works, it should look professionally done, with care to attention and detail. That’s what people want. That’s what’s hard to find.
That’s what he has in spades.

The caulking job around the old disconnect is unfortunate.
